Little Miss Foxy

I'm quite certain this little Missy is dashing off to an Autumn costume party deep in the heart of a magical forest. She's expecting fairy lights, pumpkin pie, apple bobbing and plenty of dancing!

  Now listed in my Shop

Last year I made these 'masked beauties' so am returning to that theme with Little Miss Foxy!

There's something so gorgeous about feminine, floaty party frocks mixed with opaque stockings a woolly scarf and a winter cape - very fairytale - esque.

Here's my initial design, some working progress pictures and my finished doll.

Autumn red merino wool hair, dress made from a scrap of vintage lace and a sheer nylon 50's scarf. Fox mask coming together with card, felt and gold thread.

A little felt green cape with embroidery silk stars, sequins and mini buttons. I've topped the fox mask off with gold sequins and some vintage feathers.

Green tippy toes with black pom pom detail.

I'm so in love with this dolly she makes me feel so warm and Autumnal. She has such a delicate little bambi face.

Hope everyone is enjoying October. I will be listing my new dolls as soon as the postman brings me my new Curious Pip labels.

  1. Oh, Sarah she is indeed a right dear doll! I adore her green shoes and matching cape, a girl after my own heart it must be said! x

  2. Sarah - she is divine! I received my lovely ladies the other day and I love them so much. They are settling in quite happily here "down under".
I can't wait to see what else you create.
It's also lovely to see your creative process in work from drawings through to finished product.
    Thanks so much!!

    1. Thankyou for your lovely comments. I so love the fact that my dolls travel to places I have never even been to!
